DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

Dispute Resolution Center Advisory Board

Othel Bursey Jr., serves as the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator and Administrator over the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Center (DCDRC). This Center is the only county administered program in North Texas and currently receives case referrals directly from the Civil District Courts, Family District Courts, County Courts at Law, Probate, and Justice of the Peace Courts. Othel holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) and Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Othel is married and resides in the Dallas area.
