DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

State Department Issues New Requirements for Proof of Citizenship
A photo copy of your proof of citizenship will now be required by the State Department, in addition to the actual original proof of citizenship itself. If the proof of citizenship has print on the backside, which they normally do not, the acceptance agent will need a copy of the back side as well.
