Frank Crowley Courts Building/South Tower Jail
The South Tower/Frank Crowley maintenance has 15 team members with over 180 years’ of experience with Dallas County. We manage all of the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment, along with general maintenance in the following locations; Lew Sterrett Kitchen, Frank Crowley Courts, Kays South Tower Jail, C & D garages and George Allen Jail. Our teams greatest asset is, we are a team and despite our differences we can, will, and do pull together to get the job done. Basically, the “can do spirit”. This helps us as we seek to accomplish our mission statement of Strategic Plan Goal 1: Become a Goal-Oriented Team, accountable to our 5-core values.
West Tower Jail
The current location of the jail complex all started with the West Tower so many years ago. We were the essential outfit then and that is who we continue to be. Our division consists of twenty technicians, tradesmen, and supervisory staff, with a combined maintenance experience of over 150 years. With every new day, comes a new challenge and our division works hard to adapt and overcome those challenges. It is true of what they say, we are the Heartbeat of the Entire Block; we provide essential services to all of our buildings on a 24/7 basis, regardless of the weather or surrounding environment. The group is fearless and effortlessly works to ensure our jail maintains compliance with the Texas Commission on Jail Standards. We are always on the search for the next tradesmen, ready for their own jail maintenance experience; so come join us, it will be like nothing you have ever experienced.
