- Judge Seider is located on the second floor of the new North Dallas Government Center – 6820 LBJ Freeway, Suite 2100 (southwest corner of the LBJ I-635 Frwy @ Hillcrest Road – formerly the Brinker Headquarters)

WEDDING VOWS / CUSTOMS / TRADITIONS
- Judge Seider’s traditional wedding ceremony receives many compliments. It is common for several members of a family (or even generations of a family) to seek Judge Seider to officiate their marriage celebrations.
- Judge Seider embraces the cultural traditions and customs that are often part of celebrating matrimony. Please feel free to request any special elements in your matrimonial ceremony.

WHERE DO WE GO WHEN WE ARRIVE?
- If you choose to schedule the ceremony, upon arrival you can take the stairwell just inside the building entry to the second floor. There are also elevators to the second floor just beyond the stairwell.
- Whether you take the stairs or elevator to the second floor, you’ll check-in at the main court counter which is through the double glass doors that are clearly labeled
- While witnesses are not required, you are welcome to have guests. If so, please have your guests wait in our ample hallway that leads to the courtroom so we can best assure social distancing and safety for all.
IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR TEXAS MARRIAGE LICENSE INFORMATION
- Both persons must be present and provide:
- Valid government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID include: Driver’s license, passport, military ID, or an identification card issued by Texas or another state, the United States or a foreign government
- Social Security number. You are not required to show your social security card.
- The name listed on your marriage license MUST match the name on your identification.
- Using Maiden Name On Marriage License - If you have been divorced and retained your maiden name in the divorce, but your identification has your married name, you must provide a certified copy of the divorce decree that states your name was changed back to your maiden name.
VALID TIMELINE FOR TEXAS MARRIAGE LICENSE
- A Texas Marriage License is valid from 72 hours after issuance.
- The ceremony must be conducted before the 90th day after the date the license is issued.
- The marriage ceremony may not take place during a 72-hour period immediately following the issuance of the marriage license except when:
- An applicant is a member of the armed forces of the United States and on active duty with military identification; OR
- Is not a member of the armed forces of the United States but performs work for the United States Department of Defense as a department employee or under a contract with the department; OR
- A District Court judge waives the 72-hour period for good cause; OR
- The couple completes a premarital education course described by Texas Family Code, Section 2.013, and provides to the issuing clerk a premarital education course completion certificate indicating completion of the premarital education course not more than 1 year before the date the marriage license application is filed with the clerk. Please make note of this order number, because you will need this number during the scheduling of your appointment. Marriage License Application

- If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you will have to reschedule.
- Because of the social distancing, our office will only allow the couple receiving the marriage license to enter the office.
