DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

All of the meetings will be held in Room 627A of the Dallas County Health & Human Services Building, 2377 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas 75207.  The meetings will begin at 2:30 p.m. and should end no later than 4:00 p.m.

All of the meetings are open to the public and are posted to comply with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Agendas will be posted here no later than 72 hours before the meetings. Those wishing to speak at any of the CJAB meetings should call 214.761.1389 by 4:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to the meeting date.
