DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

CJAB is committed to serve as the planning body for the criminal justice system throughout Dallas County, Texas. CJAB was authorized by Dallas County Commissioners Court on March 24, 2009, by Court Order 2009-0564 and the by Resolution 08-3435 of the Dallas City Council on December 10, 2008.

CJAB proposes recommendations to elected officials, public policy boards and/or any other private or public interest having vested interest in the criminal justice system of Dallas County, Texas. The by-laws were approved at the October 6, 2008 meeting.
