DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

The DCHHS Overdose Prevention and Response Team works to prevent overdose deaths and strengthen access to substance use and mental health resources throughout Dallas County. Through community education, overdose response and support, screenings and referrals, naloxone distribution and training, youth education, and collaboration with community partners, we work to reduce barriers to care and connect individuals and communities with the resources they need.
