Meet one of the Dallas County District Attorney’s newest specialized units: the Vehicular Crimes Unit (VCU).
Formed in 2022, this team tackles some of the most devastating offenses on our roads — from intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault to fatal hit-and-runs, street racing, and reckless driving.

Their work helps ensure that impaired and dangerous drivers are held accountable, and that victims and families receive the justice they deserve.
