For week 11, area hospital labs report steady numbers and proportions of respiratory specimens that are positive for other respiratory viruses by molecular tests: parainfluenza (3.2%), rhinovirus/enterovirus (32.1%), and RSV (4.4%).

There is currently 3 active long-term care facility outbreaks. There have been a total of 17,107 COVID-19 cases in long term care facilities: 10,621 residents and 6,486 staff members. Of these, 1,743 have been hospitalized and 1,171 have died of COVID.

There has been 0 outbreaks of COVID-19 in a congregate-living facility (e.g. homeless shelters, group homes, and halfway homes) reported within the past 30 days. A cumulative total of 1,459 residents and staff members (1,071 residents and 388 staff) in congregate-living facilities in Dallas have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
