The $500 cash bond may be paid by mailing a check made payable to the Dallas County Clerk or paid in the Probate division office.

Is the Civil Case Information Sheet needed?

No, the Civil Case Information sheet is not a required document. If you would like to file that document into a case, please submit that document by E-file Texas as a lead document.

Is the fee for posted notice automatically included with my application to create a new Probate case?

No. A new application will include the base fee of $360.00. Please select the optional services when submitting your application to include fees for posting notice.
