What is Diabetes?
Diabetes is a chronic disease that causes blood sugar levels to rise higher than normal. More than 34 million people in the United States have diabetes, and 1 in 4 of them don’t know they have it.

Diabetes Symptoms
Type 2 Diabetes symptoms often take several years to develop. Some people don’t notice any symptoms at all. Here are some common symptoms:
- Urinating often, usually at night
- Increased thirst
- Weight Loss
- Blurry vision
- Feeling very tired
- Tingling/numbness in the hands and feet
- Delayed wound healing
