DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

Transportation & Planning Division: GIS

The GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Team serves under the leadership of the Transportation and Planning Division of the Dallas County Public Works Department. Our primary mission is to support our department's transportation projects with clear and effective maps, geospatial analysis and other GIS solutions. We provide these same services for other departments within Dallas County and partner with other agencies to develop and maintain the region's GIS data resources.

GIS data for Dallas County can be obtained via the North Central Texas Council of Government's Regional Data Center.  Dallas County parcel data can found at the Dallas Central Appraisal District.
