Preserve Overview:
At one time, the area along Fish Creek was heavily wooded. Today, this area is populated with residential and commercial development, thus making this 37-acre preserve one of the last examples of the dense woods that once characterized this area.

This preserve was acquired in 1992 via Texas Parks and Wildlife Department funding. Fish Creek Preserve was the first preserve in the County system to have a picnic pavilion, benches, tables, bicycle racks,
