Preserve Features

Visitors to Muddy Creek Preserve will enjoy one of the few heavily-wooded corridors remaining in the County's rapidly-growing far northeastern corner, the creek which gives the park its name, and a large meadow which becomes a sea of green in the spring.

Divided by Pleasant Valley Road, the Preserve is also unique in that it is located in two cities--Sachse and Wylie--with the area north of Pleasant Valley being in Wylie and the area south of Pleasant Valley being in Sachse.
