Preserve Overview:

Rowlett Creek Preserve is a 94-acre preserve located adjacent to Rowlett Creek in Garland. Rowlett Creek Preserve is maintained by our management partner, City of Garland, in partnership with the Dallas Off-Road Bicycle Association (DORBA).

Preserve Features:

This preserve features 16 miles of soft-surface trails through wooded and grassland-like areas. The trails are relatively flat, which makes it a hotspot for mountain bikers of varying skill levels. There is a paved parking lot with a picnic pavilion and portable toilet facilities.

Know Before You Go:

Trails may be closed after rainfall due to muddy conditions. Please check DORBA's Trail Status webpage for current trail conditions. 

Preserve History:

Rowlett Creek Preserve was acquired in 1985 via Texas Parks and Wildlife Department grant funding. A portion of the acreage is owned by the City of Garland.
