Spring Creek Park Preserve
Preserve Overview:
Spring Creek Park Preserve is a 33.4-acre preserve located along Spring Creek in Garland and across the street from Lee F. Jackson Spring Creek Forest Preserve. Spring Creek Park Preserve is maintained by our management partner at the City of Garland in partnership with the Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest.

Preserve Features:
This preserve features soft-surface trails that meander through a prairie along Spring Creek. There is a gravel parking lot and picnic tables located on site. The prairie is abundant with wildflowers in the spring and early summer.
The Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest helps support the Preserve and offers a large number of educational programs and volunteer events. A description of and a schedule for their many activities can be found at their events webpage.

Know Before You Go:
Holford Road may be closed during times of flooding or high water on Spring Creek.
Preserve History:
Spring Creek Park Preserve was acquired in 1990. The Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest is an all-volunteer group that was formed in 1989 by an agreement between the Dallas County Parks and Open Space Program and the Garland Parks and Recreation Department. Since 1989, The Society has helped maintain both Spring Creek Park Preserve and Lee F. Jackson Spring Creek Forest Preserve, which is located across the street.

Spring Creek Park Preserve is maintained by the City of Garland and their municipal park regulations apply. To report maintenance issues, please call the Garland Parks and Recreation Department, Park Maintenance Division at (972) 205-3589 or pardmaintenance@garlandtx.gov.
